Being a member since 2019 and with more than a decade in proposal management with AT&T, APMP identified, shaped and trusted the passion in me of becoming a speaker by giving opportunities in various conferences held over time and awarded meas a “Thought Leader” in BPC Asia.

I’ve been part of APMP since 2019, with over 15 years of experience in proposal management in AT&T. APMP has been instrumental in building my professional growth through their conferences which talks about the latest trends and best practices in the industry and also recognized me with the award “Above And Beyond” in BPC Asia.

I’ve always liked the posts on membership and certifications, which helped me to complete the Practitioner level certification. Being an introvert who enjoyed spending quality time with books, I never imagined myself to be in Presales that essentially requires a lot of social interaction. This role has helped me push my boundaries, break the stereotypes and has given me a chance to be seen and heard. The challenges and opportunities are immense in this profession and I love that I keep growing with each opportunity, by learning and unlearning, being committed to the job.

Starting from just working on proposals on a day to day basis to working with senior management to implement best practices across all the pursuit management teams, APMP has played a significant role in making me capable of working on such business excellence initiatives.

Like countless others, I stumbled into the role of bid and proposal professional by chance. With limited expertise in this field, my goal was to develop my skills, remain pertinent, and contribute meaningfully to the business.
