According to a recent report by Nasscom-Zinnov, India is projected to face a shortage of 14-19 lakh tech professionals by 2026. As compared to the current tech workforce of 47 lakh (2021), the country needs 52 lakh tech professionals. At APMP India, our aim is to build skills and competencies that promote the professional growth of individuals and organizations by advancing the arts, sciences, and technologies of winning business.
With the idea of "Think global, act local", we conceptualized the Samagam series in 2022, a multi-city initiative to build a vibrant community of bid and proposal management professionals, and recognize them for their contribution to the growth of business and the economy. Participants bond over a fun-filled and insightful day-long program of keynote speeches, guest-hosted talks & team-building activities. In 2022, we hosted Samagams in Mumbai, Chennai, Bangalore, Delhi and Pune. These were well received by the community.
Come 2023, the passion has been re-ignited. Starting with Delhi, we will again take this to different cities. We already see the level of enthusiasm soaring, and hope that with the collective efforts of all individuals and corporates, this year, these will only become bigger and better.
