The members of the Pursuit Strategy & Proposal Team serve as strategic partners in helping the firm
reach its business goals. Working in a creative, strategically-focused environment, we write and design
business proposals and presentations to support the firm’s business development and pursuit of new
opportunities. We are seeking a candidate with strong interest in writing and marketing.

Key responsibilities
Proposal coordination & drafting

  • Process and create proposal drafts based on workflows submitted daily
    1. Business proposals range from short, proactive proposals to long, detailed RFPs (Request for
    Proposal) with formal questions and forms from prospective clients
    2. Through training, become an expert in our design, templates, and content to manage documents
    3. Use automation software, content library, and request workflow
    4. Edit proposal drafts and communicate with teams in the U.S, including email requests for
    additional content, support, and other questions about proposals
    5. Work across various industries and services.
    6. Read and comprehend complex RFP documents
  • Collaborate with U.S. and Mumbai consultants to support proposals, presentations, and large business pursuits
    1. May include providing research reports, assisting with formatting or editing, and providing new
    or additional content
    2. Review specific proposal drafts and special projects to identify areas for improvement and implement potential changes. Suggest content modifications, edits, and updates.

Presentation materials coordination & drafting

  • Create business presentations based on submitted workflows using templates and content in the
    existing library
    1. Become familiar with content to effectively select and customize content and graphics for
    2. Work closely with experts on the team to edit presentations

Research & data

  • Generate weekly reports
  • Utilize and maintain data with CRM system
  • Work on research projects, including company profiles, market data, company data, and other
    information about prospective or current clients
  • Assist with third-party research program
    1. Weekly tracking and submittal of requests
    2. Communicating with external contacts, internal partners, and research vendor
    3. Monitor data collection and progress throughout the year

Required qualifications
Candidates must have the following (or equivalents):

  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree; marketing, business, or other related fields preferred
  • 0-2 years working experience
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent critical thinking skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, especially Word and PowerPoint
  • Strong interest in writing and marketing

Desired qualifications
The following are not required, but will make a candidate more competitive:

  • Experience with business proposals, RFPs, or grants – other longform business writing experience is a plus
  • Experience writing for a U.S. based company or organization and have familiarity with grammatical and syntax differences of Indian vs. American written English
  • Experience with Adobe Creative suite
